  • 3-5 years plus Maintenance Management in a structured/professional environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • High level of computer proficiency including Outlook, Excel, CAD, and maintenance CMMS software


  • Preventative Maintenance Program development/implementation including planning, equipment criticality, PM procedures/schedules, team training, CMMS tracking, spare parts, and metrics.
  • Continuous improvement including daily management, problem solving, standard work, and strong results with uptime, productivity, budget, and cost savings.
  • Metals manufacturing equipment including precision machining centers-rotary transfer, screw, broach; form pressing 150-tons, fabrication, bar feeding, and heat treating.
  • Improving Team efficiency/performance in a union environment with machine repair technicians, electricians, and tool and die makers.

Our business is a high-volume Padlock component manufacturing facility for one of the world’s leading security brands.  We’re seeking a successful candidate who will raise the bar for our maintenance processes and team performance.  The candidate needs to have a plan for implementing a preventative maintenance program, enjoy being on the shop floor, and be competent at leading efficiency/cost improvement projects.  Scope is approximately 25 tradesmen, 75 pieces of equipment, and a $3M budget.    



  • Lead the Maintenance team and continuously improve process/team performance
  • Develop/implement a Preventative Maintenance Program including CMMS deployment
  • Determine equipment upgrades and new technology opportunities
